I'm not a huge FPS person. That being said, I do like a very few limited ones. I enjoyed the original Wolf3d and Doom I & II back when they were brand new and Doom had the high-end requirement of a 386DX with a 40mHz processor and a whopping 2MB of Ram. (think early 90's)
I had some fun with the old Blake Stone and Hexen... I really enjoyed Duke Nukem 3D (especially the humor) but after those I had little appeal for the genre. A little over a decade ago, an ex-GF introduced me to Painkiller and it brought back all my fond memories of the original Doom.
Now, back to today...
I noticed that Painkiller Hell and Damnation is on sale for < $5 at steam and HB. (I didn't see it on GOG.) From what I read it is a remake of the original Painkiller and Battle out of Hell. The price, the fact it is linux native, and the idea it is essentially the Painkiller I remember (based on being a remake) has me looking to buy it. Honestly, it is cheap enough that while I am slightly worried the remake may not be up to snuff, I'm not going to go broke if it fails to meet my expectations.
But, can someone tell me about the DLC in the collector's pack? I can't get really descriptive information from either steam or HB. On HB, the description for the [base game](https://www.humblebundle.com/store/painkiller-hell-damnation) is a lot less detailed than the [Collector's edition](https://www.humblebundle.com/store/painkiller-hell-damnation-collectors-edition), yet I can't understand the base not having the feature list of the CE. (i.e. it looks like marketing bs to get you to buy the CE)
What's the [singleplayer Tarot pack](http://store.steampowered.com/app/219130/Painkiller_Hell__Damnation_Singleplayer_Tarot_Card_Pack/)? Does it unlock it all tarot cards for me at the start? or does it add a few that aren't available in the base game?
Are there any additional maps or campaigns in the Collector's Edition?
Not that I plan on a lot of multiplayer, but is the [skin pack](http://store.steampowered.com/app/219131/Painkiller_Hell__Damnation_Multiplayer_Body_Skin_Pack/) in CE just the one unique image I see on the steam page?
Thanks all!!! And I look forward to shooting my stake gun again.
