A nice new feature indeed. :)

This reminded me of another sort of bug I'm getting lately. I'll open a new thread in the Bugs section.
Liam Dawe 27 Jul 2013
Fix forum topic creation redirect not going to "nice" url.

Adjusted styling of the admins manage sales page.

Fixed admin manage sales page so reported sales show up at the top not the bottom.
Liam Dawe 31 Jul 2013
Added in forum post reporting with the corresponding admin section to go with it.

When dealing with a forum report, pressing the edit or delete button from the admin panel will remove the report of course (as will the remove report button if its a false report ;)).

That was quite a hefty feature to put in with all the bits together, so I will be taking a break for a few days on website features!

Previewing an article in the admin panel will now show the correct text on the full article part, not the tagline for a second time, oops.
Liam Dawe 2 Aug 2013
Added a "Ban User & Ban IP" button to user profile, please use that instead of the standard Ban button for spammers.
Liam Dawe 3 Aug 2013
Fixed:
*Edit sales from admin fails if prices are empty even when pwyw is ticked.
Liam Dawe 3 Aug 2013
Should now show ip address on user article submissions, so we can ban spammers ip's.
Liam Dawe 3 Aug 2013
Added Yes/No confirmation buttons for deleting forum topics, required me rewriting small bits of the forum moderator options. Also made sure only admins/editors can use forum moderation options like move, delete, sticky (wasn't checking so if someone found the way they could have oops).
Liam Dawe 3 Aug 2013
I have adjusted the way the textarea's work, if any are missing bbcode buttons let me know (apart from article taglines!).

Article taglines is now a non-bbcode box, I said a while ago I wanted them simple anyway so it doesn't need to have the bbcode editor (the change above was needed for this so i may have missed one that should have bbcode buttons on it).

Admin notes box has been made to be at least as big as the blocks to the side of it to give more starting space because...why not? Saves scrolling (although mines still longer!)

Currently testing out a new text editor to possibly use on GOL instead of the current SCEditor which I keep having issues with.

This one would be a text-only editor with no WYSIWYG editing.
Liam Dawe 5 Aug 2013
Quoting people on articles should work again.

Quoting: liamdaweThis one would be a text-only editor with no WYSIWYG editing.
Good. Slay the beast. ;)
Liam Dawe 5 Aug 2013
Yeah WYSIWYG editors by their very nature never work right across all browsers especially when browsers get updated. Luckily the SCEditor author has fixed the latest bug so for the moment it works okay but I will keep this new editor I have as backup to switch in, since SCEditor is a one man project he could drop it anytime :(

I have implemented on http://www.prxa.info ready for testing a new option for Editors.

You can now put an article in the editors queue for review by others, they can edit it and it will email you or if it's fine publish it and it will email you.

In the future it will have a "lock" option so only the author can approve it and get the last word (cheese's request). It will also have a very simple comments system below the article for quick notes to the editor so you can note your changes or whatever.

Notes:
If you test it out on yourself, remember the email links will be to gol not prxa (known issue obv).

Needs testing so we can get it up on here ASAP. Just need to know if it works okay for you, I tested and it seemed to work okay!

Mainly so you can all check my crap grammar before I keep making an arse of myself (I am dyslexic FYI).
muntdefems 8 Aug 2013
Tried it on myself and it worked fine. I was able to edit my own article, publish it, and I received both email alerts: one about the edition and another about the publication. :)
Liam Dawe 9 Aug 2013
Awesome I will probably push it to gol after I put in the simple comments system on it, would be using different sql tables than normal comments to make sure there are no crossover issues.
Liam Dawe 10 Aug 2013
Also guys any ideas on extra's to give GOL Supporters?
Hamish 11 Aug 2013
Little Liam statuettes? ;)
Liam Dawe 16 Aug 2013
Editors can now rather than publishing an article have it sent to the review queue so other editors can edit it, comment on it etc all behind the scenes.

Should make bigger articles, grammar and spelling on editorials checking etc easy as pie.
Liam Dawe 18 Aug 2013
When adding article/editing etc it will show the amount of characters entered for the tagline to make it A LOT easier to make it 100 characters.
