Do you play any DRM-free and/or FOSS online multiplayer titles? Anything with a relatively active playerbase? I am beginning to fear that Steam is becoming a monopoly in networked multiplayer Linux games.

Yes! Played Xonotic a fair bit on a regular basis years ago, but not so much anymore. Just once a month or something.

[pandum online](http://www.pandum.net) is a free MMORPG that can be installed from .deb package. Server is not heavily populated but a lot of things can be done solo in this game.
