Prices went down even further now. Vega 56 is getting close to originally planed price.

I just ordered an RX 580 from eBay the other day. It's not exactly an upgrade, but I wanted to switch to AMD, and I should be able to do it without much out-of-pocket expense.

As far as the faster cards go: Not taking inflation into account, I don't think I'll ever spend $400+ on a graphics card. I bought a $500 card like twelve years ago and it started acting up a year later. It was also only worth about $250 after one year if it would have been in great condition. I gave it to my dad back then for free. What a letdown. Since then, I don't think I've even gone into the $300 range.

$300-$400 range though is expected for high end cards.

Yeah, I will say that I end up buying graphic cards more often than some friends that buy higher end.

I haven't seen those prices for ages though. Rx580 is still from £280 to £400 and Vega 56/62 nothing cheaper than £490 :/

I see Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 for $479 on Newegg now. That's a bit overpriced still, but close to normal. That should be £375.12, unless somehow local prices are skewed as well.

They are. $ prices do not include VAT, all European prices do.

Anyone here use Pro WX 7100 ?
how good is Pro WX 7100 compared to RX Vega 64 ?

Prices on Sapphire Nitro Vega 64 have dropped. Surprisingly, on Newegg it's just $20 more than Sapphire Pulse Vega 56. Quite unexpected. Not that I'd buy it since Vega 56 is enough for me for now, but someone might be interested.

Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 dropped to $400 on Newegg.
