How do I completely Uninstall Minecraft

I cant figure out how to uninstall minecraft. Ive deleted the .minecraft folder and have tried uninstalling it through commands. but no luck

Im currently running Elementary OS.

Then you are done. By default it keeps everything (but the launcher) in .minecraft. If you set a custom data directory you need to deleta that as well.

he already got help on GamingOnLinux discord server.
turned out he had it installed into /opt

apt remove minecraft-launcher

solved it
