Title: Memory leak on Steam Client Beta

The Steam Client Beta with the new library interface have a terrible memory leak here. In a couple minutes all my RAM is gone. Anyone experimenting this? The stable branch is okay, though.

I haven’t had memory issues with it myself but others have mentioned similar stuff. The only problem for me has been a consistently moderate CPU use (about 12% of one core for one particular Steam-related process, steamwebhelper I think) while on library pages that makes my computer run hotter than usual while essentially idling.

Yeah i had memleak also, it went up to 19GB on steamwebhelper. i have 32GB of ram and no swap, whole computer froze until the steam client managed to crash and free up the memory.

Switched back to the old client currently
