I ask this because [CLOSE TO THE SUN](https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/close-to-the-sun/home?lang=en-US) is FREE until April 16th and that game convinced me to create an EGS account...

Which wine version are you using? I'm using TkG Staging from TkGlitch.

IIRC, I used lutris to get Epic going for me. But, now I just launch the generated wine prefix directly.
I've seen the issue that you have before, but I can't remember the hot fix. I would try wine staging or
Lutris.

The Epic Launcher works fine with wine-5.5 (Staging) and DXVK 1.6.

I'm going to try with Lutris, because the recent client update borked it in Crossover...
Now.... For some reason , Lutris is downloading dependencies veeeery slow....

Ok. I installed Lutris, Epic and the game Close to The sun...
But the performance is extremely low. I only have 20FPS with a GTX 970...
