Terraria: Proton or native?

In the past there were some issues with the native version of Terraria (e.g. no higher resolution than 1080p, etc.), but they updated the game recently.

Are these problems on Linux are now fixed? Is it still better to use the Windows version with Proton, or the native one?

Should be fixed as of the latest update, try native.

Game seems to scale well with high resolutions. Even supports ultrawide really well (thankfully has a UI scaling feature too).

Good to know. Last time I tried (and refunded) it, it couldn't manage more than a postage stamp in the corner of my screen.
