More variety in reactions to articles/messages than just "like" would be great.
I think we should avoid things like thumbs-down, and do more specific things like: 🥰 🤣 😫 🤔 🤬
Well done on keeping the site from getting so horribly enshittified. It is one of the few sites I really love reading things on still.
That is something I've wanted to do, I'll look into the best way to do it.
* I send a comment with a link in it
* it ends up in the mod queue
* I try to go back in the browser
* the site warns me I might lose data as if my comment is not saved
edit: if I add a link to a comment by editing it, it ends up in the mod queue naturally but I don't get the popup telling me it is in the queue.

But something bigger - the news reviews / thoughts carousel, dedicated feedback on that here -> https://www.gamingonlinux.com/forum/topic/6645/
Now the article list doesn't stretched out, it splits into columns to make better use of space.

It works great in the forum, great for the front-page, but for articles there are some weirdness:
* Embedded videos are now SUPER-LARGE, whereas embedded images are the same size.
* The text paragraphs are also incrediby wide which makes them harder to read. Particularily the quotes which are often long sentences and now I have to significantly scan sideways.
* Embedded images float in the middle, often far from the text.
I think it would make sense to add a max-width limit to paragraphs and embeds in articles. Wider than default, but not completely unconstrained.
Maybe add some more sideways padding in wide mode to limit the offsets as well. It looks a bit weird when I have 3cm of black, then gray box and the text starts in less than an 'em'.
