Overhauled the Website Settings page (scroll down) to use some nice columns. And, in doing so, added a new option for you to disable the featured articles section of the homepage.

I do believe giving users options to tweak is a good idea for those who really don't want certain stuff 👍

I don't think I like this new layout. I have two issues with this:

1. I don't know whether "Latest News", "Reviews & Thoughts" and "More News" are distinct sets. That is, do I possibly miss something if I only look at "Latest News" and "More News" without scrolling through "Reviews & Thoughts"?
2. This is my main issue: Previously, I would just scroll through the list of news and get everything. My eyes would basically stay in the same column while I scrolled. Now, they have to move horizontally to cover "Latest News" (and possibly "Reviews & Thoughts"), and then vertically while I scroll through "More News". This takes like an order of magnitude more of mental energy for me and makes me considerably less likely to visit the page.

It's really not that different.

Featured has always been there, it just has an actual title now (and now you can even disable that in your settings). Then it's...

1 Latest news.
2 Recent reviews.
3 More news.

With the greatest respect, that is not complicated.

I tried to update the page to be more modern, and make it look better - and it seems people didn't like it and some provided quite rude feedback in places. So I've quit this time. It's gone. Post locked.

Going to rethink how to best highlight and bring attention to stuff that gets buried. But clearly it didn't hit the mark this time.
