Levantera: Tale of The Winds, an action RPG inspired by NES classics now supports Linux

The developer of action RPG Levantera: Tale of The Winds [Steam, Official Site], let us know that their game inspired by some NES classics is now available on Linux.

About the game:

Get ready to set sail! You are the captain of the M.S. Tradewind, a trade ship bound for the open sea!
Gather your crew, test your sea readiness, and explore the world in this 8-bit action/RPG inspired by NES classics.

I must admit, I actually think it looks quite good. It's in Early Access currently, so it's not quite finished. The developer said they expect the full release to be this year. Even though it's not fully finished, they do say the "primary story arc is complete" so there's hopefully a good amount of content.

I may have been the first Linux user as I reported on the Levantera Steam forum a few bugs to the dev: https://steamcommunity.com/app/506700/discussions/1/1696043263510839522/
For me the game is not yet really playable but the dev seems to work on it.

Looks like a mix between Sid Meyer's Pirates and some classic NES platformers.
If they give you a large world to explore could be really cool.
