The RTS game Cultures : Northland is now available on Desura for Linux :

Northland was originally developed for Windows and was then ported by RuneSoft on Mac OS & Linux.
Northland is a Real Time Strategy game similar to "The Settlers" series, taking place during the Vikings Era.
According to RuneSoft Company (Comments in the Northland Thread in Desura), the 8th Wonder of the World, never ported to Linux, may also come on Desura according to the success of Northland on that digital platform.

I was always tempted to buy this game, I love the Settlers series - but when it comes to relationships and marrying those "settlers", I'm not a big fan.
This game is very outdated now.
Might buy it if it will be on sale.

I haven't tried Cultures yet, but I've definitely enjoyed the open-source [URL='http://wl.widelands.org/']Widelands[/URL]. If you liked the original Settlers, you should give this one a try!
