Reclaim the land from the sea in POLDERS, what the developer says is a "quintessentially Dutch" city builder inspired by Townscaper.

With the sandbox environment you create the very land buildings will stand on. The dev said it's inspired also by "centuries of Dutch ingenuity" with you building a system of walls to then pump out the water using windmills. The Townscaper inspiration is more about the casual flow of it, with streets and buildings and the general layout in POLDERS all looking quite crooked and imperfect.

Buildings do have a purpose, it's not just about creating and expanding. You need to get resources, deal with transport, build up an income to grow you production chains with more products and the list goes on. From the way it's described and the visuals, it looks like it's going to be a good one.
