From developer 8BitSkull, their latest game Skull Horde now has a demo available to test ahead of the release later this year. 8BitSkull previously made BORE BLASTERS, Void Scrappers and Fates of Ort. Just like their previous games it has full Native Linux support and will support the Steam Deck directly too.
In Skull Horde, you're a flying skull necromancer on a quest for revenge, commanding a loyal army of undead to do your bidding. In roguelike runs that take approximately 20 minutes to complete, charge through procedurally generated dungeons, unlocking powerful perks and strategically purchasing new units to build your squad. The demo contains one full run in a specific biome, with no meta progression. Much more will be in the full game.

Highlights:
- No Body? No Problem!: Stunt on the haters (your own body) as one of multiple playable characters with unique special abilities, including the option of being a floating skull.
- Super Soldier Squad: Turn your army into the finest assortment of expendable minions that money can buy, combining loot found in the dungeons to gain great advantages, and merging multiple units to make them stronger.
- Procedurally Generated Dungeons: No two dungeons are alike and each level features a variety of enemy types, ensuring that builds must be tinkered and tweaked to overcome their attacks. Unique challenges that reward new unlocks and content will also keep you on your skele-toes.
The Steam page only has a Windows icon for the demo, but there is a demo for Linux and macOS too. I see this issue now all the time, developers keep missing fully showing their demos for some reason. I've heard Steam admin is a bit of a nightmare due to how many options it has everywhere.
1) Go to Store Page admin for the demo
2) Under "Supported Platforms", untick "Automatically inherit from parent" and instead tick "Enter specific system requirements"
3) Tick Linux (and macOS if applicable), but you don't actually need to fill in the requirements
4) Tick "Automatically inherit from parent" again
5) Save
6) Publish
