Here's a run over the most played games on Steam Deck for September 2025 and you don't really need to be surprised by the first.

It was of course going to be Hollow Knight: Silksong wasn't it! And followed by the original Hollow Knight in the number 2 spot which is also not really a surprise, with more people wanting to get into the series with how popular Silksong has been,

Here's the top 50 by playtime from September 2 to October 1 from Valve's list:

That's it for this month!

I've been mostly pumping more hours into Deadly Days: Roadtrip on Steam Deck docked up to my big screen TV, a fantastic way to unwind. Plus plenty more PEAK with friends - it's just so funny.

In the last month I've played The Raven, The Abandoned Planet, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Framed, Wheel World, The Pale Beyond, and Hades. I also started The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker, but that's something I'm playing with my other half and it's difficult to find times when we're both available and both in the mood.

I'm not putting much time in recently on the Deck, but when I am, it's all been in Quartet. A fantastic modern retro jrpg that's perfect for the handheld gaming sessions.
