Looks like we'll be able to play Blue Protocol: Star Resonance again, with the release of GE-Proton 10-21 out now with some essential fixes.
GamingOnLinux reported earlier how it appeared that Blue Protocol: Star Resonance was suddenly having major problems on Linux when they added Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) after release. Turns out though, in this specific case it was an issue in Wine that Proton and GE-Proton are built from, with a fix that's been pulled into this release of GE-Proton.

There's also upgrades to the other internal parts of Proton with the latest code, along with fixes for Black Desert and various game launchers that had a tweak accidentally removed previously.
From the GE-Proton 10-21 changelog:
- wine updated to bleeding edge
- dxvk updated to latest git
- vkd3d-proton updated to latest git
- wine-wayland/em-10 patches updated
- fixed news not loading in black desert online (revert GL/VK patch in em-10)
- hotfix added for blue protocol player count crash (https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/merge_requests/9218)
- re-added accidentally removed wine writecopy options for battlenet. uplay, ea app
Confused on all the Proton versions and the difference between GE-Proton? Check out the GamingOnLinux explainer on the different Proton versions and the GamingOnLinux guide to install GE-Proton to get started with it. Usually, you don't need GE-Proton unless it has some specific fix not available in Valve's official Proton.
I've noticed some ACE games working on desktop Linux recently. So, has something changed on Tencent's side to make this happen?
Good job, GloriousEggroll!
