Today, Tribute Games Inc. and Dotemu have confirmed the beat 'em up MARVEL Cosmic Invasion will officially launch on December 1st.

With the new trailer we're greeted by reveals of Phoenix and Invincible Iron Man that will be included, as the roster of characters for it is now complete. With 15 total playable heroes, you get quite a nice variety here and there's likely plenty for fans of Marvel to appreciate. The new additions join the likes of Captain America, She-HULK, Rocket Racoon, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm, Phyla-Vell, Venom, Nova, Black Panther, Beta Ray Bill, Cosmic Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer.

Currently, the demo is still available on Steam with an overall Very Positive rating.

More about it: "In MARVEL Cosmic Invasion, the immortal Super Villain Annihilus has launched an unprecedented attack across the galaxy, threatening all life as we know it. Fighters, both Earth-born and cosmic, must now join forces in a star-spanning adventure against the deadly Annihilation Wave. Choosing from a unique roster of characters, brawl through the streets of New York City all the way to the depths of the Negative Zone to foil Annihilus’ vow to spread death across the cosmos.

Choose and control your own team of two characters while tagging between them mid-fight with the innovative Cosmic Swap system, capitalizing on distinct superpowers and special attacks to create unique team-ups and dish out devastating damage."

It has Native Linux support and will no doubt end up rated Steam Deck Verified eventually.

What is this, the 80's again?!
Seriously this is looking amazing. As a life long comics geek and Marvel fan (not MCU), this tickles my fancy. emoji
