Epilogue reveal the SN Operator to play real SNES cartridges on various platforms

Much like Epilogue did with the GB Operator for playing actual Game Boy cartridges, they've recently revealed the SN Operator for the SNES. I was quite impressed when checking out the GB Operator back in 2022.

This time around it appears they're making it even easier for connecting up to handhelds too, as it will use a USB-C connector instead of the USB-A that came attached to the GB Operator. With support for Linux, macOS and Windows - these devices make true retro gaming on the go or at home real easy. Great devices for retro video game preservation too!

Just connect it up to your PC or handheld with a cartridge inserted, install their Playback app and away you go.

It supports region-free playback of Super Nintendo / Super Famicom and Enhancement chips (Super FX, SA-1, DSP, CX4, etc). The device also helps you to spot counterfeit catridges and their software has built-in support for RetroAchievements too.

You can pre-order right now for $71.99 with shipping expected in April for the Founder's Edition.

See more on their website.
