I started the game on windows but I hate booting it. I can now finish the game.

adult swim games??? now that sounds eerie.

my daughter might enjoy this, but I think I have to skip it.

This is more than a simple game about faeries. The main part of the game is probably not for your daughter. Unless she's into fourth wall breaking games and absurd comedy...
