I don´t think so.. There is no wrapper with Dx10/11 Support, so its pretty sure an Native Port.

I wouldn't give Metacritic much weight especially what comes to critics' points.

The game got lots of crap because how they presented "history" in Russia point of view.

Good to have some RTS games for Linux. I hope it will be OpenGL 4.x version and not nerfed OpenGL 3.x

Quoting: fleskI'd be interested to know what you think of campaigns where only Windows and/or Mac is a goal for PC but where they also target another platform you might own, like Wii U, Android, iOS, PS4 or XBone. I've backed some of those for a Wii U/Android version in the past and I'm currently tempted by Adventures of Pip, but on the other hand I don't feel right about supporting further segregation between Windows/Mac and Linux on PC.

I'm not interested in backing anything without Linux support, because supporting Indie devs who are willing to support Linux is a big part of what makes backing rewarding for me. By investing time and energy in the early part of a project when it really counts, we can be 10 times as helpful as an ordinary windows gamer so that Indie devs are happy to do solid Linux ports for us Linux backers, without worrying about when the SteamOS sales are going to start kicking in to boost Linux sales figures.

"Check out the awesome linux gaming site he is a core part of: Gaming on Linux."

In comparison, I just can't get enthusiastic about backing teams who have such little interest in cross-platform development that they charge huge stretch goals for Linux, indicating they really don't want to bother learning how to debug Linux builds, or pick one of the non-Linux engines when there are so many proper cross-platform engines available nowadays

Best of luck on the campaign, David. It looks superb and really deserves to be made/finished!

Surely you mean Prison Architect, don't you? :P

Doh! Prison Break was that dodgy TV series, wasn't it? Yeah, of course I meant Prison Architect. It looks like it could be really fun, but the lack of a useful tutorial, obscure objectives and weird bugs rendered my few hours with the game a frustrating experience.

Bravada Now Available On Steam & It's Great
By Cimeryd, 27 August 2014 at 2:45 pm UTC

I don't know. To me it seems native speakers are the ones who struggle most with the common mistakes of written English. Things like confusing "there", "they're" and "their", or even confusing "of" with "a". It seems to me that people who learn English as a second language learn written English first and spoken English second, but native speakers learn have trouble separating similar sounding words when they write them down.

About Fritz, it seems the Big Final Push was only due to an error on a backer's part, so the creators decided to cancel the campaign at the last minute: :(

By the way, our game demo includes a feature to send feedback from inside the game (top right corner icon). It would be great if you, Linux users, provide us some feedback about the game running on Linux.

Quoting: PlintslchoFor me personally, the Kickstarter hype has died down though. I have backed some projects up but in the end, haven't had the feeling it was really worth it. I rather follow the development now and pick the game up when it is finished.

I'm much pickier about my pledges now too, but only because of the Fun Pimps debacle. So stretch goals are out for me, and I prefer to see some evidence that the project is taking cross-platform really seriously.

Strangely enough, while I see value in Kickstarter, I utterly despise early access. And I won't ever sign up for alpha or beta access on Kickstarter either. Despite wanting to be part of the seed that grows into a game, I still (perhaps selfishly) want to experience the finished article and not ruin the surprise by playing low quality rubbish along the way.

It's a real shame about The Hum. They said they would continue development anyway, but hopefully they will try again with a better campaign, more realistic goals and maybe a less intimidating currency so we can get a better game.

+1

I wouldn't back any project up that isn't offering a DRM free Linux version. That's the only thing I'm interested in.

Quoting: fleskI just backed Major Drips but I'm now starting to wonder how legit it really is. The campaign has only 29 backers but has still reached $6K of its $20K funding goal, largely because it has both a $1000 and a $3500 backer. Add that to the fact that it's participating in OUYA's #FreeTheGames fund and it looks a bit sketchy to me.
Uh-oh, I'm afraid you may be right... The vast majority of those 29 backers are first-time pledgers and newly registered to Kickstarter.

Oh, that's a shame. :/ I was hoping we had seen the last of those projects by now.

He does have a lot of subscribers to his YouTube channel though, so there's a chance that they are legitimate pledges.
