Today I took a look at Insanity's Blade a game Kickstarted at the end of last year. Insanity's Blade is a real retro-game in the sense that it feels like I'm playing on a Sega Megadrive.

Starsector previously known as Starfarer is a game I have been following since early 2011 and I am glad to say it's still being fully worked on. Starsector is an open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration and economic game.
This is a long named game, "Because this is literally the best we could come up with: Retribution" hah nice. It's a very pretty looking arcade shooter and quite random (you can fire cheese!).

Infectonator Survivors is a Randomized Permadeath Survival Simulator that combines RTS, Tower Defence, Roguelike, and Management-Simulation gameplay. Currently in Steam's Early Access and it caught my eye, luckily the developers told me they have plans for Linux.
Black Ice is a fantastic looking FPS game with some RPG elements thrown in, it's awesome because it's like playing a shooter in Tron land.
You know that I am often quite bad at platformers. Luckily this time the game actually requires me to get gruesomely killed to progress in this just released game. Like the title says, Life Goes On.
