Seriously Liam! How can you forget that Minetest and Terasology exist!?!? I created an account here just to point this out!

Just because I don't mention something, doesn't mean I forget them. Minecraft offers a vastly better experience out of the box than both of those. Personal opinion of course. I am well aware of them both. Minetest is just a shell (I know it has plenty of mods, don't force me to download a bunch of mods just to get a basic game experience!) and the last time I look at Terasology it had a long, long way to go as well.

Pretty much yeah.

Yeah it was a toss-up between that and Fallout for the top spot for me! GTA or something like it would be extremely welcome.

Quoting: g000hAgreeing with Liam, it's a bit soon for another sale. It'll be yet another - the January sale - a couple of weeks after this one.

As someone who follows sales a lot, there aren't many discounts any different to previous discounts - "Same old, same old"
It's another point about me telling people not to use grey market/dubious websites to buy keys. There's always a sale going on at a proper legitimate website that supports developers. Look how many sales we've had recently!

I'm aware the original had been ported, but does this version GOG have support for that installer?
Edit: I've popped a note about it in the article.

Unity 5.5 released, removes legacy OpenGL support

Quoting: BeamboomHow does removing legacy OpenGL support improve things for us, in practical terms? Isn't the legacy support a different library anyways, so performance on newer versions of OGL would be unaffected?

Or are they intervened in some fashion that to me sounds like a really bad design choice?

(I'm no Unity developer - just very very tempted to jump onboard that train)
Most games use the legacy OpenGL version Unity has, not many are actually using the newer OpenGL version.

It goes without saying that newer OpenGL allows for improved performance with the use of the newer bits available in it. That depends on what Unity does with it though and what developers do with their actual games too.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleThanks all. "Earn living from free games" is the worst business plan though. But whatever - never said I was smart. :P
If you somehow manage to get by with other means like a part time job or something, it can be a damn good way to get a following though, hopefully.
