@ElectricPrism, I think you need to cool your attitude a bit mate. Referencing this comment.

The entire article echos a lot of my own and others thoughts, you need to not take it so personally that SteamOS is not quite what everyone had hoped it to be. This is a repeating problem in our comments this year, people take an authors comments personally.

All your comments on that picture you put up are essentially arguing your own point of view (minus one or two bits I missed), which is what the article also does. It's an editorial, it's an opinion piece from the author that should have been clear as soon as you saw the title.

Like when you circled the dates where the author is giving a bit of history, the dates are correct, so I don't get what you're trying to say? You also circled with question marks about the ability to swap out SteamOS for Windows, this was stated as a feature by Valve.

You also underlined the comment about "AAA" games, claiming that 3,000 number (which isn't correct btw, I recently said we may hit that number at the end of the year, so your comment isn't even correct). Everyone knows we need more AAA games, I even said about that recently as well.

You also circled and commented about the mention of Valve launching VR without Linux/SteamOS support like the author was wrong. Just because Valve did a demo of it at SteamDevDays, this is after 5+ months of waiting and it's still not released. The author is again correct in what they are saying.

This is my point ElectricPrism about staying cool; you've circled and underlined a lot of stuff that the author, I feel, is actually quite correct about. You seem to be too close to the subject matter to have a clear head for feedback. This is shown by your colourful use of language, as you're totally going off the mark calling the authors mental state into question saying they have screws loose.

Saying "desktop" Linux, rather than "Debian" was a simple oversight on my part, anyone can miss something. How about giving us a little slack? We are not funded by a big company, we are funded by users who enjoy what we write and what we host from others at times like this.

I'd be glad if there is more to the game and a wider variety of choices than just being evil.

Anyway, I'll keep an eye on this game.
You generally always have the choice to let people go, you aren't necessarily evil, you're just in an evil world. You are to judge people, how you do that is your choice.
