You're confusing stuff here. Feral and Aspyr do ports, too. Native ports.

I think there are more validation checks necessary instead of just checking if the variable is empty. At least check if it's actually a directory. If I used such a bad error handling on my clients' systems I'd be in huge trouble.

Bought it on release day and I've played it for two hours so far and I have to say it's really fun and worth those few bucks I've had to spend for this "stupid mod". Actually, it's the best portal mod I've played. People should stop complaining and try it on their own.

Every time we mail Ryan Gordon (the guy working on the port), he takes weeks to reply and he never gives us an exact release date, we just get told "it's coming soon".

Wow, that's definitely not what I'd call professional. If I did something like that, I'd probably already lost my job.
