i haven't played this one, but danganronpa is a visual novel hard to beat, if this one is better, it really has a huge wow factor

No gameplay , it's called kinetic visual novels in this genre of visual novel.You play the game like a book but there are sound effects. Higurashi and umineko are the two best visual novels series I played on linux. Both are from the same author.It's darker than danganronpa.I recommend to start with the first higurashi if you're interested. If you want the voices there are also some mods from the ps3 version that was available with the voices.

I played them without but they're available.

For visual novels fans they're considered masterpieces ^^ Danganronpa is quite good but there is a lot better in the writing out there.

Oh sure, I only meant it in relation to the trailer, I know a previous employer of mine wouldn't have liked me watching a video showing girls in their underwear while clients were walking around :P

Higurashi are amazing visual novels , not trash like the sakura's ones :p It's a gem and a japanese classic with a good story , a lot of suspense. Need to like to read though. They're not short. But at least I recommend to watch the anime ^^ The visual novels are a lot better than the anime but it's also quite good :D
