What Have You Been Playing Recently, And What Do You Think About It?

I've hit a wall in a few games: a literal wall in DeadCore (well, several of them, hurtling towards me), a nest of warpers with a shaman in Shadow Warrior, and the Absolution in Freedom Planet. I like those games, obviously, but it's frustrating.

Any opinion about Coffin Dodgers vs BlazeRush?
I played ReVolt as a kid, would like to find something fun with a large choice of tracks.

Developers Of Strategy Game Halfway Show Linux Sales & Support Requests

That's about 80 support requests total (39 on Mac, 24 on Linux).
I remember the KOTOR II launch and the bug with the restored content mod, a game breaking bug that generated enough activity to be covered here but it was a single problem (shared by Mac and Linux IIRC) and there was enough signal that it could get diagnosed and fixed really quickly (it was an issue with some kind of case mangled paths).

Mercenary Kings Now Available On Linux And A Few First Thoughts On the Game

Quoting: subI really liked Wizorb.

BTW, is there a way to get a Steam key for Wizorb via HIB6?
Now that it is on Steam, it would be great to add it to my library
but back then it was only available as stand-alone download.
It's on your download page, the key also activates BIT.TRIP.RUNNER, Gratuitous Space Battles and Jamestown.

Terraria Comes To Linux Tomorrow The 23rd Of July In Beta

Terraria was first; but Starbound was multiplatform from the start.
Aside from the fact that Starbound is in early access and very active development, which one should I play?

The other game he's referring to is Wizorb, right? I got it with HIB6 (Linux average was 15$ or so), but it didn't hook me at all. It was a later addition to the bundle anyway. I preferred Jamestown and Rochard.
Looking at his Twitter bio (https://twitter.com/jfmaj0r [External Link]), he's worked on way more popular games.

The Flock Will Only Be Playable For A Limited Time, Releasing For Linux This Year

They'd better have the Linux build ready from day one then.
If they have a single player able to die maybe that removes the trolling potential.
It sounds like they are aiming for something like Eve, where the metagame is more interesting than the actual gameplay; the time limited business model may be a blessing if game quality must not affect the player base (if the gameplay is good I'm sure they'll find a way to extend it). If neither the game nor the metagame are interesting, it will end up as just another inscrutable art project.

How Steam Computes Linux Sales

I think there are a few more things that could be clarified:
- what happens if I play a game that isn't marked as Linux compatible in the store, but does have a Linux depot or a beta branch which I'm trying out?
- what happens if I buy, activate or play using steam-on-wine? Giana sisters twisted dreams, for example.
