Maia is now releasing Linux builds - not sure what the final release date is looking like.

Pillars of Eternity is also in beta and promising Linux builds RSN. Not to mention "Shroud of the Avator", "Torment: Tides of Numenera" and various other games in various stages of production.

I've played both the native CC port and CC via wine. There are extra features in CC Windows (which I think is at 1.06) compared to the native port (wedged at 1.0rc) so I'm really hoping that the new port is better, faster and at feature parity.

Hey - Toribash came back to the Linux party, so I hold out some hope that CC will be back as a regular.

OMG! It has a SAVE feature, finally. I might actually attempt this again as I rarely have much more than 30 mins to play at a time (in between games of FTL:AE).

Limit Theory (http://ltheory.com/) looks very interesting and already has high graphical fidelity, procedurally generated spaceships, planets, universe, etc.
