I've been craving a replay of Azure Dreams (PSX) so I've installed DuckStation on my Deck. Hard to believe this gem is over 25 years old, and (AFAIK) nobody has remade it properly (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon came close, if I recall).

Might replay the GBA version afterwards, depending on whether the itch has been scratched or not. It was never that well received among my peers at the time, but I enjoyed it.

Oh wow, you can see the ~5 month gap where I was replaying Zelda: BotW+DLC and then TotK on Switch almost exclusively. Haha. :grin:

8% of playtime on Steam Deck sounds about right, I mostly use mine as a VLC client for my minidlna server.

Still not sure what advantages this gives over PulseAudio, but it seems to be pretty embedded in the Arch package ecosystem (it's been present on my system as an unconfigured dependency for something else since mid-2018):

$ pactree -rs pipewire | wc -l  
2409
$ pactree -rs pulseaudio | wc -l
105

Thanks for posting this write up! I picked this game up on the back of this article and I'm having a lot of fun so far. I'm still not sure I understand how the social standing thing works, but I'm slowly building my business empire, starting with a corral raising ducks, then buying a plot of land and building a butchers to process the carcasses. I'm currently trying to befriend another resident who owns both of the woodcutter buildings in the village, so I can buy one from them and maybe monopolise enough wood to build a nice house on another plot of land I bought, so I have a nice place for myself, my wife, and our four girls to live in. I'm still fairly young, but maybe I'll try out for one of the order positions once I'm of that age, in the meantime I'm happy playing the markets, slowly building my income, and building the foundations of a successful business that my children will inherit and continue my legacy!
