Even more than an Orc does during a Dark Knight defeating a Muton before driving away in a Bugatti Veyron?

XCOM 2 Revealed, Will Be Getting Linux Treatment

Couldn't watch the trailer earlier, but I've seen it now. I'm glad they've added snakemen, they were very much missed from the XCOM reboot.

I hope this one has more of the original micromanagement (or at least has the option for it). I found the reboot to be a bit too dumbed down (but still fun, mind you). Enemy Within made it a bit better, but I want the way I build my base to matter when aliens attack it. I want to be able to hire and fire soldiers/scientists/engineers at will. I want to go on a chryssalid terror mission with five electroflares and two laser pistols for a team of 14 because I forgot to equip the skyranger pre-op.

Nothing to worry about, like Pecisk said, this is likely due to GTA:V on Windows.

Just imagine what the numbers would show if GTA V was released as a Linux exclusive on PC, instead of Windows..

Friday Livestream, Multiplayer Edition Starting At 5PM UTC!

I wish the games list would be announced ahead of time.. this is the second time I've been available and wanted to join in, but the download+install of games has taken too long for me to participate. :c

I know these things aren't set in stone, but even a speculatory list of games would be good.

On the plus side, the devs of Storm United got at least one extra Linux sale today. That game looks really cool, I'm amazed it's still in Early Access. I think I'll stay away from lifts though..

I wonder if this is a result of me throwing money at my monitor after reading the previous article. :o

Sales Statistics For Linux Games From Different Developers, Part 4

"Experimental" Rust had been unplayable for a long time (due to problems with libraries [External Link], and bugs with the game freezing after ~10 seconds due to a child process [External Link]), these problems have been solved now (although I still get freezes after a random amount of time in game), but these problems probably hurt Linux sales while they went unresolved.
