"All hands on deck"? Hmm..

A card game, perhaps? That'd be disappointing (for me at least).
A game that involves sailing? Sid Meier's Pirates, or Colonization? I'd be happy with those, although I don't think too many others would be as overly pleased.
A game with nautical themes? One (or both!) of the original two Bioshocks? I know there's been a lot of theorising about that, but I don't see why CDPR would port the the third, but not the other two.
Doesn't one of the Assassin's Creeds have sailing elements?

Maybe I'm putting too much value on the choice of words.

GOL Survey Results: March

Seems that the DE question causes some confusion. I don't use a DE, so I answer None/Custom. I use a standalone WM (openbox) instead.

In the results though, I see that openbox has two (!!) bars, presumably because some people are confusing it with a DE and entering it under "other" (either with a capital O, or a lowercase), and i3 has a bar too (presumably for the same reason).

Perhaps a new option would help. i.e.
[ ] Standalone WM (e.g. openbox, i3, dwm)

I got the steam survey today too.

Not sure if that was an April fools, or if I'm the 1% for this month.

The joke is that the image for this months poll says "Survey results for March March March", instead of "Survey input for April"? :P

I found the AAA question difficult to answer.. I don't know what half of those AAA games are about, so I only ticked the ones that I know I'll be getting. If the others looks good to me when they release, then I'll probably get them too.

Quoting: Eike
Quoting: philip550cIts in my library!!!
Does it install already?
How is it running?!?
It installs and runs really well. The performance is great (pretty much constant 60FPS) on my Nvidia GTX970, but there's an occasional graphical glitch that spoils it for me. Looks like this [External Link]. It's particularly glitchy around the security room about 10 minutes in. Looks like this [External Link].

I'm enjoying the game so far. But if these graphical issues persist, I can't see myself getting too immersed.

Quoting: FeistThis game was pretty good, the whole run/hide aspect added a good deal to the "horror-feel", compared to the "normal" horror-games where you shoot/blast/whack/slice/pummel and generally abuse anything that looks even remotely scary.
Mmm the Amnesia games have the same sort of gameplay, and I didn't find them scary (I've only played Dark Decent and Machine for Pigs, I think there's others?). There were a few "jump scares", but other than that, they were basically just exploration games with occasional distractions.

I'm hoping this will deliver what I hoped Amnesia would.
