Dota 2 Managed To Hit Over 1 Million Players

Quoting: ElectricPrismTo anyone who says LOL trumps in players because they claim 40,000,000 players - that's nonsensical as the metric can't be compared. LOL counts players by the # the accounts registered, not by logins this month.
they can be compared
www.polygon.com/2014/1/27/5350944/league-of-legends-has-27-million-daily-active-players
27million daily, 67million monthly

Aspyr Media Are Close To Breaking Even On Linux Ports

Maybe it'll be an ID tech game like rage, wolfTNO or the evil within? They used to have linux binaries but haven't got them since the guy who did them left ID soft.
But maybe we'll never see an ID tech game again on linux, since bethesda has never had any interest in linux.

So disable plugin, or just go watch them elsewhere like I have.

Linux Lagging Behind On Minecraft User Statistics

Quoting: FergleFerglesonI can't imagine that MS's acquisition of Minecraft has exactly endeared it to the linux-faithful. But for me, the real surprise:

Windows 95 - 1076

There shouldn't be that many Win95 boxes left. Period. Let alone running MC. :)
i never even thought the game would still run on that OS...
