Quoting: PatolaIt worked even under proton!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! And to prevent the graphical glitches I just had to disable postprocessing.

Now it plays very smoothly and with amazing graphics!

Normally postproccesing effects on wine affect performance and also can shows graphic glitches as youre said

*i dont like post proccesing still on windows

Quoting: Patola
Quoting: elmapul
Quoting: massatt212wish they did some improvements on the DX9 department, still have games like ultimate Marvel vs capcom 3 stuttering
stuttering in a few games can be solved by having an better hardware (or closing backgrounds programs if they are ressource intensive)
No, that's not it.

There is a weird issue with some DirectX9 titles where either it runs smoothly or it runs really slow, even on high-end machines.

A good example is X-Blades. Under Wine 4.0-rc6 it stutters.

Under Proton it stutters.

Under wine-staging is stutters.

But under the snap steamforwindows, which uses wine-staging 3.10, it doesn't.

...and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines, this one consistently stutters

In my case various dx9 titles works ok, in various cases as other said with better hardware improve*

*For this reason have my cpu at 5.0ghz / 215 cinebench single thread

Case:

And many other games including various unreal engine 3 games

However wine have troubles with dx9 and stutter could be stay present in various machines, without forget other issues cases proper vsync support, high single thread use and others

About video with wine 2.13 will be possible recording with nvenc using wine regular dx11 implementation but actually using dxvk + faudio performance improve around 20 to 30fps depending scene

But now is not possible recording with nvenc because gpu up to 100% and when occur this situation video file recording have bad video and sound

With SSR* cpu recording stay better, sound stay ok and fps indicator appear well (give a better idea about performance)

*With obs give worst results using gpu or cpu compared SSR

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoHey, mrdeathjr! I am waiting for your Proton vs Native videos.

Difficult situation personally native is better and promote more this tech will be very bad for companies still make it native ports like as feral / vp and others

According before for now i dont offer this test, however if devs provide wine/dxvk based port can test without problem
