However why dont apply some OC your 4690K????, any frecuency between 4.2Ghz and 4.5Ghz must be offer fps boost in most native games

Without forget very higher consume compared with intel maybe because intel have more advanced manufacturing process
However some test with athlon x4 845 (carrizo core) shows improvements in ipc area but is not enough, still far to haswell core (and if fou have haswell to 4Ghz or more difference is more higher)
This is some comparative using cinebech in singlethread for cortesy of cpu world between various amd cpus with speeds in 3.Oghz and 4.0ghz compared with same frecuencies on intel for see how much is the difference on ipc per
core between them
http://www.cpu-world.com/benchmarks/browse/910_80,993_80,1161_104,2626_105,1081_104,1081_96,484_22,484_35,434_35,434_22,639_35,2669_106,871_60,2659_106,1134_99,1017_87/?c_test=33 [External Link]
Models Tested on AMD
Athlon II X2 250 3.0Ghz - Phenom II X2 545 3.0Ghz - A4 4000 3.0Ghz - A6 6420K (4.0ghz stock but in turbo ups to 4.2ghz) - A10 7870K (3.9ghz stock but in turbo ups to 4.1ghz) - FX 8150 (3.6ghz stock but in turbo ups to 4.2ghz) - FX 8350 (4.0ghz stock but in turbo ups to 4.2ghz)
Models Tested on INTEL
Pentium G3220 3.0Ghz - Celeron G3900 2.8Ghz - Core i3 6320 3.9Ghz - Core i7 4790K 4.0Ghz
In my case have a Pentium G3258 at 4.1Ghz, have very similar single thread performance than i7 4790K

Quoting: mr-eggi wouldn't be too surprised if only Intel CPU's were tested.Maybe with zen this situation improve but actually ipc of actual amd cpus is too lower compared with intel
It seems AMD CPU owners are becoming forgotten about with some Devs.
Can't wait for AMD to release their new CPU's/APU's

In short test game seems stable and runs very good and cpu and gpu use is very high
View video on youtube.com
However tessellation is a very heavy feature (without tressfx) reduce around 15fps and gpu temp is higher

In my case configure per app (in this case dark souls 3) because my default windows version to imitate is windows xp
Maybe can try, however in various test for example with farcry 3 DX11 only shows black screen and many information on console (DX11 just born maybe in future updates can improve)
Almost forget very important detail, i dont have dark souls III for now

For use DX11 mode this needed some steps
Winecfg needs put in windows to imitate: windows 7 and in wine register needs have on direct3d wine section this entries:
MaxShaderModelGS set on 5
MaxShaderModelPS set on 5
MaxShaderModelVS set on 5
Respect game runs considerably slow on DX11 mode (unplayable in this point) without forget issues in some objects like plants and some enemies
Other issue stay on excesive cpu use compared with DX9 mode
:)

In this tests game remains stable
However recording at 48fps needs around 17 a 20% of cpu on practical terms this represent 8 and 10 fps performance loss in my machine depending game
View video on youtube.com
For this reason test 2 and 3 are recording at 30fps with out forget is some situations (Heavy Explosions, Heavy particle situations) fps drop around 30fps
View video on youtube.com
And on test 3 game runs without problem with large combat (on wine game remains around 15 min of playing and gpu go to 0% and freeze)
