With able artist influenced by Beksinski and Giger, this game can't go wrong - and even if, it will be easily forgiven. But, and it's a big but - none of the tiers mention getting Linux version. They only say they have it in plans, but with the game based on Adobe Air I don't expect much. Vote on Greenlight? Yes! Support on Indiegogo? Not this time.

This game looks awesome and I've been watching it since the release. The main thing keeping me from buying is that historically when I bought a game fresh after release, it had several shortcomings like not working achievements, Linux port bugs etc. - and in some reviews I've seen traces of such bugs also in this game. Though I wouldn't mind them that much if you have a free key for me. ;-)

At the moment it only shows this message and quits:
I played through this game some years ago, will be nice to finish it again (for the achievements, of course ;-).

Quoting: compholioThat's probably because the 500 counter includes unreleased games as well. When sorting by release date, these games disappear. I'm just speculating though, because among the games with no release date is Gear Up as well as Prison Architect or Metro: Last Light, while the latter two are obviously available, only have the date broken. So yeah, let's just stick to the official counter at http://store.steampowered.com/browse/linux/ [External Link] :-)Quoting: pbIt only shows 495 titles here: ...Weird, if you do this search [External Link] it shows 500, but yours shows 495 for me as well.

The number crossed 400 less than two months ago. Considering the current pace at which games are greenlit - and the plans to drop the greenlight process altogether - the number is likely to double by next spring, but sadly the quality of releases is another story.

Diversity is always good, and I'm inclined to think GOG will do much better than Desura on this field. And I mean not only the quality of Linux client.

Quoting: FutureSutureI have no idea myself. Haven't bought Trine or Trine 2 yet. Ever since I found out that a new Linux client for Trine was being made, I held off from buying either game so that I could play them in chronological order. Considering that this new Linux client should launch fairly soon, why not just play other games until then?Yeah, I'll probably do that - just wondering. I like to play the series in order they were made, that's why I was holding back on Trine 2 or Metro:LL. But I can imagine that for some games it doesn't matter much, like Crusader Kings II or Left 4 Dead 2 (or does it? ;-).

I have both Trine and Trine 2, but I haven't played either of them so far - should I play them in chronological order (i.e. keep waiting for #1 to get to Steam) or it doesn't matter?
