Quoting: hardpenguin
Quoting: FaalagornI haven't tested them yet, but they are both available as Luxtorpeda packages: https://luxtorpeda-dev.github.io/packages.html [External Link]
Yup, that way I played through GTA3 on Steam just a week or two ago!
So it's 100% completable on this engine? How about VC? I've never played either, but I have them on Steam, might as well try...

Metro Exodus still due on Linux this year, Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition announced

Quoting: CyrilAnd you see not a word about GOG release... For the macOS version they mention explicitly some stores, but for Linux it's just Steam... Tell me I'm wrong...
Reading between the lines, they are probably porting for platforms that need the Linux version for their current or upcoming cloud...

It's already ported (to Stadia).

Ludusavi seems like a pretty good open source game save backup tool

I just start steam with a script saying:
HOME=/home/pb/saves steam $@
so I have all Steam games' saves in one place, instead of them being scattered all over my home dir.
I imagine this can be easily done with other clients as well, such as lutris, gamehub, minigalaxy or legendary/heroic

Probably they realised that exclusives will never pull as many people as hit games from other studios. Like Cyberpunk 2077.

Valve abusing the market power of Steam on game pricing according to a lawsuit
1 Feb 2021 at 4:23 pm UTC

Quoting: TheSHEEEPor the claim is indeed baseless - which I still think is unlikely because why make an entirely baseless claim to waste your time and money (lawyers, etc.) with?
Indeed, why? To find the reason, follow the money. Who paid the lawyers preparing the lawsuit? Some five random indie guys? I doubt it.

Valve abusing the market power of Steam on game pricing according to a lawsuit

That part: "keep the price of their games the same on Steam as other platforms" can be understood in two different manners.
1. Valve doesn't want the game to be available cheaper elsewhere.
2. Valve doesn't want the devs to take advantage of Steam's popularity and price the games higher on that platform.

If there was no such clause, who wants to bet if the games would be cheaper on other stores or just more expensive on Steam?

Quoting: MrKiasuThe better conspiracy theory is Tencent == Epic investor == force all Klei games to be EGS exclusive == no more linux.
Probably not all, but the next release - very likely.
