Well I just found the fix, not entirely satisfying but my ears are grateful. I open the about window, resize it to minimum and shove it to the bottom right corner of the screen. It keeps the CPU calm and the fans quiet. :-)

The biggest annoyance is that it idles at 100% cpu usage! They know about this issue already but haven't fixed it yet. I am now downloading the new version to see if it resolves that issue.

Do you have one of those or know anyone who could give a first-hand opinion? They're quite interesting and I'm seriously thinking of getting one - but while I'm often keen on niche brands, I need them to have a proved quality before I jump on the ship.

I hope they "backport" UI scaling to other games (if they didn't already). Last time I tried playing CK2 or EU4 on the tv, it was a real pain.
