Well, now I am definitely going to buy Empire: Total War. I was afraid that it will be count as Windows purchase if I'll not play it in a week. (I am using rotten potato instead of PC and going to buy new next year)

How To Build A Budget Steam Machine

Quoting: EKRboiI have never tried as the only BR drive in my whole houes is my PS3, but can you even play a blu-ray in linux without having to jump through hoops? I use my ps3 with CFW to rip disks to iso, then ftp them over to my main pc and decrypt and convert the main movie to an MKV and stick it on my NAS for streaming to my couple of htpcs running XBMC.
Well... Playback blu-rays on Linux is not just "insert and run" but also not so hard. I'am using MakeMKV+XBMC and when everything is set up correctly, blu-rays is launched directly from the XBMC. In my experience this bunch works better than my Philips blu-ray player.
Also I need some features that consoles (and most of the players) can not provide me (out-of-box at least), like external subtitles and audio tracks or multiregional playback (though not tested last one on PC yet).

How To Build A Budget Steam Machine

I just counted same prices for Russia (KFA2 GTX 750Ti not avalible in russia yet, so I raised its price for postage. If replace it with another GTX750Ti card - price will be even lower):
The Machine - ~19608 Rub = ~545$
Xbone - ~21000 Rub = ~583$
PS4 - ~20050 Rub = ~557$

Also I would like to add a blu-ray drive in Machine. It would be good to have a full media center near the TV (and PC functionality in the media is much better compared to consoles). It will cost me about 80$ and the Machine will be somewhat more expensive than their competitors.

P.S. Sorry for my (probably) teяяible eиglish.
