Apparently the "birds" have flown around the globe and spread the word of free OS. I think Valve is somehow behind this increase as Linux gaming has been going up for sometime. It cannot be coincidence.I can say only this:fly Tux fly!The 4% is next!!!

Er...I played a game(which name I shall mention here because if kids find about it they love it) where you are an anti-hero and you adventure through a city levels beating grannies, get out of them some money to buy beer from a alcohol store. Then it's nice to get drunk and pass out to get an access even more difficult levels:happy:. Btw A nice side effect is after you've beaten a granny, you get all the cops to come after you and if you have a knife or a baton they can be easily dealt with! There is also a engineering student who sells a magazine and you cannot refuse from buying it and then there's a bum, who bums all your alcohol away! A kind of funny game. There's more hilarious things in it but I won't tell you more this time. I can only tell this that aim of the game is to find cognaq bottle which is hidden somewhere in the game! And this Game is, from what I've heard, based on reality! A very relaxing game where you can leave your brains to the nearest kiosk so to speak!
Steam Deck now the global #1 top seller on Steam

Dunno. It's been very quiet which is surprising after the big announcement of the Rog Ally back then. It's been a while on sale. I've also heard that they sell it in Australia ( where Valve haven't expanded their delivery of SD). And for me, the ad of Rog ally(e-mail) came from my telephone company which I discarded immmediately. So maybe Asus have a better distribution network but I find their choice of OS conservative. Windows 11, from What I've heard doesn't fit well on ally. So even if Rog ally is better in some ways than Steam Deck, I think that in the long run Steam Deck will win. The proof is the number one spot in Steam selling statistics which surprised me. Obviously people want to get rid of windows as choice of game OS. Also maybe it's a magic of Linux that attracts people. One can only guess what the reasons are. But let us see what tomorrow brings!

I bought Steam Deck last year and I've no desire to buy Asus Rog Ally - even though it's a better console in some ways than Steam Deck But the biggest flaw in it is windows 11. I don't like it and you can't install Linux on it - yet. Besides I'm waiting for Steam Deck 2. When it's released perhaps then my wallet opens up to Valve
Valve appear to be banning games with AI art on Steam (updated)

" ...AI selling naked women's pictures cheap(0 €) to devs. You stomach turns, your flesh creeps!!!" ahh off topic again. Sorry:smile:. I mean it's a big dispute of AI's use everywhere. And AI's use in game art? That sounds bad. In general AI development is going too fast ahead. We can only watch and hope for the best.

Quoting: gaboverstaYes, I did count them in matter of nano seconds because in my dreams I've this all seeing magical eye( which I should own in real world but alas, no. It would be fun though to know where's my neighbour's secret moonshine kettle so I could blow it up, for example:smile:) The answer to your second question is nope but the leader had the tux flag flapping on his Antler! A nice sign of victory over good old M$!That's all folks - for now....:smile:Quoting: SolarwingI was overtaken by a Horde of 10000 elksDid you count them? In your dream?
Also, did one of them bear Cities Skylines II insignia by any chance?

I knew it when I woke up that this would be the day that over 10000 games would be reached! Why?Because I saw last night a dream where I was overtaken by a Horde of 10000 elks who where heading - surprise-Valve's secret headquarters trampling all M$ infested computers on their way! Now over 20000 games is next...hopefully soon.....
