i don't think i have seen a stardew valley mod with fomod, wonder how complex a mod has to be to require that

Many developers leave GZDoom due to leader conflicts and fork it into UZDoom

I checked and UZDoom doesn't have a package on the AUR. I'll try building one but I have no experience with makepkg or anything so I have nfi how it'll go.
probly would be easier to start with the gzdoom pkgbuild and then replace with the uzdoom specific parts.

if you have any issue i would be glad to help as i have packed a few programs.

i am in the camp of as long as they actually support the proton version and not just using it as a second citizen, fine with them removing a native linux build if the build was highly defective

KDE Plasma will continue having an X11 session, as Kubuntu switches to Wayland by default

i am fine with telemetry as long as i can see what is being reported and control what gets sent, which fits how Plasma has done it as i can go to the audit folder to find what is sent and they have a toggle to what is being sent(though need to better define the difference between usage statistics and basic usage statistics)

ACTION GAME MAKER confirm plans for Linux support for the editor and game exports

you can usually switch out the engine for the linux version of electron with rpg maker mv/mz games most of the time(some plugins don't play nicely) though you may run into case-issue so you would need to run something like cicpoffs to make the directory non-case-sensitive or use a launcher for easier switching like rpgmakerlinux-cicpoffs.

usually it is a good idea to stick with the same electron version, you can check this by renaming the package.json file(can be named anything but that) and launch the game will show the electron version in the bottom right corner

ahh makes sense, i heard that ultimate doom builder was more advanced but where i read it from was years old so i thought the gap between the two might have lessen.

checking out the level editor, i am surprised it is using .net framework. is there a reason to use framework now with how developed dotnet and it ecosystem is or is this game been in development longer than i thought?

EDIT: found out reading more of the Readme, it is forked from Ultimate Doom Builder which uses frameworks. though wondering why they didn't go with slade since slade is more cross-platform?
