I've put some time into this game and enjoyed it, but ultimately it had enough problems that I gave up on it. When it works it's a fantastic survival/scavenging/loneliness simulator, but there are problems. The UI is really clunky, and the balance is way off; a lot of skills that should be midgame (eg moving towards self-sufficient food production) are impossible without late-game skill levels, so everything slows to a halt while you grind up skills - particularly construction.
Like cats? Cattails is a 2D RPG with light survival elements where you're a feral cat

I was waiting for the linux version to get official, I even sat out the last 50% sale on it, but now that that sweet icon has appeared I've picked it up. I loved the first, I hope this one lives up to the legacy.

ah I thought it was streaming, but it's using your local hardware -- I thought I would get to try some greedier games on my laptop. In that case I agree with the above comments, I don't really see how it's going to work; humble monthly is the same cost for more games per month, and no clawback.
Sounds like Killing Floor 2 won't come to Linux any time soon

I'm as disappointed as you all, but KF1 was cross platform and it's a fantastic game, so it's a shame, but I don't hold ill will against Tripwire. Like Liam said, things change - they still gave us one great game

can't argue with their choice of inspiration: DD and FTL are two of my all time faves. I'll keep an eye on this one.
