I have good memories of KDE. Unfortunately, as EWMH treats multi-monitor users like annoying gnats* I have decided to not use window managers that support it, which includes Kwin.

For VR to be bearable for the average person they need a high framerate (I forget what the minimum comfortable level was), but trying to stream, say, 144FPS with current infrastructure is hard to achieve.
