While I also want to see less Life is Strange in the nominees, I agree with Liam's assessment.

Valve are looking to gather a list of games that don't work with radeonsi

[radeonsi] already performs really well, unlike Nouveau

XCOM: Enemy Unknown should now work properly with radeonsi

I kinda prefer XCOM:EW over XCOM2, as I've had way~ too many instances of getting utterly screwed by the RNG (the Avatar project jumping ahead by 3 points while I'm just trying to get some extra supplies, for instance).

Multiple statistics have shown Linux market-share doing better than ever

Quoting: LeopardWe need AAA titles badly at this point.
Not so much AAA titles as platform sellers. Biggest ones ATM are prolly (not sure, but my nearest guess) Skyrim, COD, FF:XV, Overwatch, Dishonoured 2, and DOOM.

Quoting: Purple Library GuySo either there's something odd about Steam statistics, or Linux is used more for everything else but gaming.
Linux may be more prolific among both 'casual computer users' (seniors and 'normies') and professionals; people who don't really do gaming per say.

Beamdog (Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition) are working on another game, testers needed

Quoting: ShmerlI hope they'll make it 64-bit and will avoid the notorious big XFS partition / no LFS bug.
Dude, who cares.
The same could be said of all Linux issues.

Are you gonna go over the list and remove any doubles that snuck in before opening the vote? I've seen Blades of the Shogun appearing twice in the overall best category.

EDIT:
Quoting: mindplagueLife is Strange.
Bahaha! No.

Northern Shadow, a once promising looking RPG that would support Linux has ceased development

Harrumph, could've at least GPL'ed it so the community could try and finish it.

Kinda reminds me of Good Robot, though, where Shamus got quite far into development before teaming up with Pyrodactyl, and ending up with something quite different from the original vision.

GOG are selling 10 of their 'top' 2016 games for super cheap, 5 have Linux support

For the moment I have more games on GOG than on Steam. Gonna try and keep it that way, to support anti-DRM companies.

What game are you truly thankful to have on Linux & SteamOS?

Kigo, for all those times I just don't have the time to play a full game on KGS/DGS and just want to play some quick and easy games against GnuGo. Even if the SGFs are horribly broken.
