It'd be interesting if Steam allowed stuff like pre-ordering explicitly the Linux version, so if the game releases without a Linux version the publisher needs to refund the customers.
But I don't know whether that'd really help.

It's more likely Windows users will see the banners, not know what it's all about, and shrug it off.

Quoting: wolfyrionHmmm... I wonder if we can make Blizard to port ALL their games to ALL OS no matter what...If one of the big figures in gaming (like TB, for instance) takes up our cause there could be a change. But that's not very likely to happen, so yeah...
Not a petition something that will hurt their wallets....
So far Overwatch is only playable in Windows and consoles ... so MAC users are on our side :)
I wonder if it is possible to make a "Strong" movement like for example to force everyone to stop their subscription or Stop playing any Blizzard Games for maybe 2-3 Month unless we got a word from Blizzard that ALL their games will be playable to ALL OS ?? :D
Lets say if we throw out a lot of bombs at social media, for example a Banner that says:
7/7/2017
EVERYONE STOPS PLAYING BLIZZARD GAMES
FOR A MONTH
- LETS STOP THE MONOPOLY!!! -
SUPPORT ALL OS
Do you thing Blizzard will get scared if social Media push them over? or they are going to wait for that date 7/7/2017 to see what will happen? :P

Ah yes, Stellaris, a.k.a. "Rubber Banding: The Game."
No mention of Tyranny? The games being mentioned makes it look like there wasn't a single good game released for Linux the entire year.

Over 1,000 games have released on Steam this year with Linux support

Sturgeon's Law [External Link] 90% of everything is crap. All we can do is try to find the 10% that isn't.
On the topic of VR: it only works for a subset of people(A), so it'll never get really big. Although it will probably go into a bubble like the web did back in the '90s before crashing like all bubbles do.
A: I have a lazy eye and VR doesn't do much for me but give me a splitting headache. Other people have reported getting violently ill, headaches,... and that's ignoring the proven detrimental effect of monitors on visual acuity.

I'm actually considering looking around for a Wii/WiiU just so I can play Metroid Prime and a couple nice Zelda games.
There's just some games that are so good at what they do there's just no replacement.

Quoting: Mountain ManNah... you just pick your platform and then play the games that are available for it. There's no reason to feel like you're "missing out" just because every single game is not available on your platform of choice. But Metroid Prime looks sooo good...

Well, the gaming community in general has been considered toxic for the longest time. Remember when a COD dev announced some changes in a patch, which included some nerfing, and the fans went berserk and even threatened to kill his family?
If I was a conspiratorial man, I'd suspect that those things were actually done by people with an agenda who want to the community to seem toxic, but there's no evidence for any of that, so let's not.
Anyway, as I'm an old fogey, who greatly prefers the best of the SNES and PSX over modern PC gaming, I'm not really interested in most announced games and whether or not they're coming to Linux.

Hey, it's a teeny, tiny me in the upper right, neat!
Anyway, changes seem fine, although the username in the pop-up is, like God-Emperor Trump said, kinda hard to read.

It looks like more classic Topware Interactive games are coming to Linux

I have a feeling that the "get port -> complain" cycle will result in "don't get port -> complain".
Both achieve the same result, but the second one takes less time and effort.

What one game would blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?

Take a shot every time someone lists more than one game, you'll die instantly.
Also, so many people choosing Fallout 4, that is why LGBTQ people don't feel welcome in video gaming. I'm am disappointed and ashamed that such a homophobic game gets such a warm reception.
