Wasteland 2 Is Selling Very Well, What A Shocker

Quoting: laveis it a full game tho? with a real story, voice acted dialogues for important characters, hours of gameplay that concludes in a good ending to the plot that has been built up before?

i ask this because i played fallout for the immersion it had with its interesting characters, fun and random encounters and its very satisfying endings. im very sceptical with crowd funded "semi indie" games if they can deliver me that and not just ride the "sandbox crafting is cool" hypetrain. i would buy wasteland if someone tells me it has the same level of love for design, lore and details, but not if its just "fallout battlesystem in an open world where you can do what you like trololo".

i like really classic game, is this one? :(
IMO, you should check out the kickstarter videos from the developers, check out the developer diaries, and read anything else about the game from the official site and forums. Best of all, check out some youtube videos.

This game was made by the people who made the Original Wasteland And the first two fallout games. You can't get more authentic than that.

Divinity: Original Sin Still Aims For Linux This Year

Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyWhile I think boob plate looks ridiculous, I think bringing up the realism argument stupid in a fantasy game. You might as well complain about stuff like your characters moving around in normal speed wearing plate armor.
I think the larger problem is that it's a bit alienating to (some) female players when the female player character is dressed like a strumpet.
That's another argument for another time. I was just quoting him on his realism argument.

Boob plates are ridiculous and unrealistic male fantasies. Women should get proper armor. I'm buying this game because they came to their senses and dropped that crap.

Sucks that the game isn't out yet, but this is expected since Larian is new to Linux development. In the mean time, you guys should play Wasteland 2 if you are in need of a good oldschool style CRPG. IMO, it's almost as good as Divinity Original Sin.

Torment: Tides of Numenera New Video, Looks Absolutely Stunning

Quoting: ShmerlSuch games don't need multiplayer since they try to be close to pen and paper RPGs but in game form. To make it similar with multiplayer one needs a serious environment with GMs and such like some MMORPGs do to be conductive for roleplaying. And that's a completely different scope of a project.
so what you are saying is it's not diablo. That's all I needed to know. Highly highly doubt this will be my "cup of tea" then. It does look nice though for the people who will enjoy it.
Never doubt anything. I thought all hack & slash games like Diablo were dull until I actually played a lot of Path of Exile. Now I'm hooked on the genre.

You should definitely buy Planescape Torment or Baldur's Gate 2 from GoG. You may end up liking them.

Quoting: ApopasI'm going to be honest here and say that I wasn't remotely interested before, but that video has pretty much sold this one for me. The game is heading to Linux as confirmed by their previous Kickstarter.
Have you played Planescape Torment or any of the Original Infinity Engine games (like Icewind Dale or Baldur's Gate)? If you're not interested in the CRPG genre, then you probably won't like this game.

I already pledged for Torment and Pillars of Eternity a year ago, so I don't need to tell anybody how much of a Obsidian/Black Isle/Inxile fanboy I am.
