Quoting: EikeI'm looking forward to see the coloured section grow. :)14% playable+ now, rising almost every day. 4 games "Unsupported", two of which should go to at least Playable later on (Outlast and Surviving Mars).

Quoting: Cmdr_IrasWhile no means an expert in battery technology I do work with backup power supplies and we offer Li-ion batteries as an option, and it is pretty standard for these batteries to charge to 100% then self discharge to 80% in order to maintain longevity; in our case this happens over the course of a month but were talking about 100-250Ahr blocks here that are permanently connected to a power supply.I guess the usual way to cope would be to... adapt the number being displayed a little bit. Like, showing "100%" when it actually dropped to 97% already.

Feral Interactive have no plans to update their Linux ports for Steam Deck

But I sure still have more native Linux games totally worth my time than I have actual time to play.
Four big CRPGs alone that are still unplayed, 4 * 50 hours at least, which amounts to many months for me, four new WadjetEye Games ports, four unplayed Zachtronic games, ...

Quoting: elmapulOf course you're right that games should be worth one's time.Quoting: Alm888Rest assured, I have more than I will ever be able to finish. All Linux native. Most on GOG, some on itch.io or Humble. Had not to "pirate" a game in a long time (sinse 2012 at least). Oh, and I have exactly 0 (zero) "Feral games" on my Steal library because… I have no Steam library. :tongue:its not about the ammount of games, but the time you spend playing then, its worth?
there are tons of free games for android that, while they are free, they dont worth our time.
time is the most important thing in life, money? you can won on lotery and get rich and never need to worry about it again, but time? you cant recover that, and you only realize when its too late.
yes, i'm talking about myself.

Quoting: easbarbaElden Ring is running fine with great FPS on AMD/Mesa but all enemies but bosses/sellers are invisible. That's a feature, to make it even more challenging...
I will just wait it out.

When this happens, the embargo on all coverage also ends. Valve said they sent out a Steam Deck to "roughly 100 media outlets" (including yours truly).
Valve adds official Steam Deck compatibility checker, 762 games Playable or Verified

There's not only Verified and Unsupported, but also Playable - which Outlast for sure was for me.
Specifically, I was asking about the game Outlast, which is also on consoles, including Switch version, so we can be sure it can work with controllers and on a small screen good enough to be, well "Playable".
This shows "Valve is working on support of this game for Steam Deck".
Makes a lot more sense.

Quoting: denyasisThat wasn't the question. Like, not at all.Quoting: EikeI would agree, but why is Outlast, which I played through natively, appearing on my "unsupported" list?Native (and even "Platinum on ProtonDB/AppDB") does not equate verified for the Deck.

Quoting: denyasisI doubt many games were made with a 7"-9" screen and controller only support in mind. In fact, I'd imagine some simply will never work by design, regardless of Linux compatibility.Playable games with readibility problems and such fall into the category Playable, not Unsupported.

Quoting: SalvatosPSA: You can hover a game and click the "Steam Deck Compatibility" button to see loosely why it has the current status. Thanks!

Quoting: ST34MF0XThey're literally saying it means "currently don't function on Steam Deck", on the page Liam linked.Quoting: jordicomaUnsupported? This has more sense than on spanish "No compatibles" (no compatible), as many of these games works on my linux, even some are native."Unsupported" does not mean "does not work."
