As for this one here I'm not even gonna comment on it and just quote you so that you read yourself back if don't see what's wrong in that sentence I don't know what to tell you other than "welcome to the mute list"
One of us two has absolutely missunderstood namiko.
Removing some negation, I read it as adapting for women is (still) fine for men.
What's wrong with that?

Quoting: Purple Library GuyThose do sound good. I was thinking of a particular kind of thing. They happen in certain kinds of tourist traps and such. They serve generic fast food, but because they're serving mobs of tourists they will never have a repeat customer so they don't need to worry about doing a decent job. They're not a chain, so they don't even need to worry about even fast-food-chain-style quality control. The tourists are a semi-captive audience so they can charge through the nose. Those snack bars. They're evil.
Never thought about this. My diner wasn't the crowded tourist place kind, but felt like "we're the only one in town (you'll find)", but the captive part sure feels true. Guess we need to take some sandwiches with us next time. :) (The diner had been shut down when my wife was back at Narvik years later.)

Well, I guess they conceive something with saying that, but it's not obvious to me what it is. So, as you seem to be interested in that topic: What is is Google is thinking of here?

Never eat at a snack bar. Don't matter what country you're in, you'll hate it after the snack bar.
:-D
I do it from times to times here in Germany and don't regret it. I wonder if it gets less pleasant with me getting older lately, though. Maybe the overload of fat is better suited for a young stomach.

Quoting: BotonoskiI really don't understand the appeal of game streaming, ain't really any savings for the consumer in the long run, especially considering how expensive internet tends to be in the US. My current PC cost me 2-3 months worth of a half decent internet plan
Germany is said to have bad internet conditions. I've got 50 Mbit/s for 30 bucks, no data cap. So my next PC will cost me 2-3 years(*) worth of the internet plan, and, way more important: I don't even need to pay anything additional for internet if I wanted to use Stadia.

(*) I really wonder what your internet and your PC cost if it's months for you...

Stadia launched with the bare minimum to be called a service.
This reminds me of an actual strategy for software development and release, "minimal marketable product" (see e.g. https://disciplinedagiledelivery.com/defining-mvp/ [External Link] ).

Quoting: F.UltraStrange, it's available here in Sweden, 1079€ though (which of course is basically free for you rich Norwegians).
Did I tell the story when my girlfriend and me were to Norway (Narvik) for some hours, ate at a snack bar, paid over 30€, not even including something to drink, she couldn't eat her's to end because it was plain disgusting, I got the runs from mine, and when I was at the main station's toilet to do what I had to, somebody had written to the wall "Norway is too fuckin' expensive!"...?
Well... I could relate to this! :D
