I just read through some of the negative reviews and they disliked Beholder 1 due to the time constraints generating hectic and distracting from the story. Got an opinion about this?

My first run ended rather abruptly, as I decided to accept the invitation to enter a creepy looking house hoping for a nice cup of something hot, only to end up as the ingredients for some kind of weird occult potion and I was never to be seen again.

I guess you've been invited (in)to something hot then...!

I just played the game and can recommend it. It's on the easy side with respect to puzzles, but not overall light on topic.
It ran natively without problem on my system, but it still does not have the Linux icon, unfortunately.

PS: It's also available for a buck at the moment.

Separate games through personal categories would be great too, Like FPS, Native games, etc.

You already can do that.

How do I categorize by genre and play state and then display all RPGs I didn't yet play?
