I'm just playing the game in the preview image, Exa Punks. I like that you can compare your results to the ten percent percentile or the one percent percentile. Ten percent is enough for me, thank you very much!

(Need to know to understand the following: I am software developer by profession.) When i couldn't cope with an optimisation puzzle, my 7yo daughter said to me, so I'm obviously not a good programmer.

I did beat the ten percent percentile today in this puzzle. Had to. :)

I'd like to tell you that Steam sent us an email after launching Steam Deck, hoping that our device could be pre-installed with SteamOS.

Did we already know that Valve is actively approaching companies to get SteamOS on more handhelds?

I was delighted lately to find there's a fan group on Facebook for my first computer system, MSX. Happy nostalgia!

It made me pull out my very first home computer, 40 years old now this Christmas, attaching it to the very first TV of my wife, and having my very first daughter (7 yo) play my very first game, Athletic Land. :heart:

I don't expect huge amounts of people changing over either, but the big difference is that for all those Windows versions, you usually could just install the new version on your old computer. With Windows 11, the requirements are quite strict, and while you might be able to trick the installer, MS does not promise updates for unsupported system, so this is a dangerous path.

So, the question has changed for many people. It's not "Should I install the new Windows on my old computer?", but "Do I really want to replace my still good enough computer just to install the new Windows?!?" And even if the answer is yes, then they have a spare computer which they might use to check out this Linux thing.

I didn't take a closer look on immutable systems yet, but shouldn't they have the possibility to put some additional layer on them with changes? And just the original system stays the same?

basically the middle ground between a full fledged smart phone and a completely dumb phone. On a device like that, the battery would last me like a week because I would only ever use it for calls, texts, playing podcasts in my car, stuff like that.

And then anything else, like emails, or looking up webpages, or using apps, I could use this device! Man............... If my family weren't so tied into the apple ecosystem (shared calendars and photo albums etc) I would totally try it.

edit: DAMNATION ... they're going to launch it as a kickstarter ffs. I swore I'd never again use kickstarter for anything ever ever ever, but ............................ shit.

I've looked into the Palma 2 before, but it doesn't have a SIM Card slot, does it? I would need it to use GPS on the car/bike, otherwise I'd probably try to switch to it soon.

GPS by itself shouldn't need a SIM card though?
