It's probably right that "To The Moon" cannot be recommended in the way of "I'm sure you'll like it."
I'll for sure recommend it though in the meaning of "It is totally worth a try, because if you like it, it might be a blast."
Here's my review from Steam:
It's pixely, it's ugly, scrolling is nasty, controls are broken, path finding doesn't work, the puzzles are superfluous, pacing is bad, the action sequences are crap, the jokes sometimes queasy...
... but it's a marvelous game about live, love and death.
[thumbs up]

My feeling is we cannot expect full support for everything as we are a small group.
Other user's feeling will vary, though. :)

Quoting: linuxvangogHello pb, linuxvangog from GOG here.I appreciate you're communicating it openly.
We are not actively working on the Linux version of the Galaxy client as it is currently not our foremost priority and we have to put our limited resources to other upcoming features.
We know that this issue is very important for Linux part of GOG community. We will let you know if something changes.

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTI'd buy them if GOG wouldn't charge 10 €. WTF is wrong with them? Packing old DOS games in a Dosbox requires not too much skill. Why would you buy it for a price like this? :'(Well, if it holds true that it's still unrivaled...

Quoting: MetallinatusWow, I think it's time to upgrade my Potato to a Potato+, then :/Best thing is the last line for Linux:
"Additional remarks: For those who like to bake their own potatoes just the way they like 'em." :)
Quoting: MetallinatusOn a serious note, do play To The Moon before Finding Paradise, Liam, you would be stealing yourself out of an incredible game if you didn't....You should, and you should try to find the time to do it in a single session if possible.

How did it feel to play them? I found most games you remember from youth are better kept in shining memories than actually replayed...
Looks like the open-world FPS 'The Signal From Tölva' is now on Linux

But you don't need to count on it, I guess they didn't make and upload a Linux version and are not going to make it official later on.

Quoting: BuzzleclairSomething is wrong with this article: this game is actually not available on Linux officially on Steam. It's only on Windows and MacOS, that's it!It's available, but not officially. That's it.
Quoting: BuzzleclairWill it count as a Linux purchase? It has been reported that sells using Linux were even credited to Linux when there wasn't any Linux version (when not played on Windows in the next time, that is).
But you don't need to count on it, I guess they didn't make and upload a Linux version and are not going to make it official later on.

Quoting: tuubiYeah, that's how we do it. We've enjoyed several classic RPGs and adventure games together over the years. This only works with games you can play at your own pace though.Could you borrow me your wife?
