Quoting: g000hNot at all interested in "try me for the weekend" games. Just f off.
Why is this? Isn't it the optimal way to find out if you'll like a game, for free?

Quoting: DrMcCoyMy wishlist is already messy and neigh unusable with 200+ games on it and no way to keep it organized.
I've got the opposite: My list is well-tended and I'd be happy to buy or get gifted any single game on it. (I only "follow" the other games I might also be interested in.) I fear those times are over now...

Quoting: qptain NemoUhhh, I mean I remember enjoying the first episode on its own considerably, I decided to buy and play the rest after all, but, as I'm sure you understand, an episode of a longer story can only be so self-contained. It felt fairly satisfying but at the same time it also ends on a kind of a cliffhanger.
Ah! I didn'T see the other episodes are already released. So it's all fine: If it's fun, I can get the rest. :)

I'm in the same group as some others: I'm using the wishlist as... *drums* *silence*
whishlist! I gave it e. g. to my wife so she could use it for a Chistmas present. Meh.

Quoting: MohandevirWould have been happy to buy Legend of Grimrock II if it came out on Linux... If I remember right it was because of to few resources available. They have a mac build though... Someone to help porting it? Snif!
Anyone has made a list of game series'/developers having supported Linux and not doing it anymore?

I already had a look at it today but was held back from the negative reviews saying it lacks in choices making a difference. It's pratically free, though - 51 Euro Cents here. :) Is this episode 1 self-contained?

Suomi mainittu, torilla tavataan.
Google makes out of it:
Finland mentioned, see you at the marketplace.

Wut? :D

Onneksi olkoon!

Here's another way to look at the Linux market share on Steam

Quoting: Purple Library GuyIt weirds me out that with the thousands of games around, many of them really good, the statistics can be pulled around so much by one or two top-selling games. Clearly everyone's buying the top game because everyone else is buying the top game, not because it's one they will intrinsically find fun. The mindset unsettles me.
marketing, those AAA games have so much more budget for advertising, nothing more, nothing less.
I don't think so. They are just pleasing many people. Otherwise, they wouldn't buy it a third, a fourth, ... time.

And PUBG, man, it just looks fun! I would totally want to play it!

Quoting: chancho_zombiethen you think I'm just going to shut it off so it stops and it won't let you (please don't turn off your computer).
When Windows, I think it was Windows 98, started to tell "You can shutdown your Computer now", I was joking one day the computers would tell us we must not shutdown them. Well, here we are... ;-)
